The unit is based on plane and solid shapes. The premise for this unit is to determine where and how shapes are used in everyday life. In addition, the students will develop an understanding of how plane and solid shapes are alike and different. The unit will culminate a discussion(Speaking and Listening) that will exhibit student understanding of the concepts involving Plane and Solid shapes.

The Animoto movie will introduce the subject matter and serve as a "hook"! The Podcasting with a Voki will serve as the unit introduction.
